Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires 4 to 6 additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Gass manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. He practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, ranging from cosmetic facial bone surgery, corrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery) and wisdom tooth removal. Dr. Gass and his staff are trained in administering a complete range of anesthesia within our state of the art office setting. Depending on the needs of the patient and the procedure, one of several anesthetic techniques will be suggested. These include general anesthesia, intravenous and intramuscular sedation, oral sedation, or inhalation anesthesia. Children of all ages are cared for in our office.
